Philadelphia West EARN Program
Philadelphia, PA 19131
The West Employment, Advancement and Retention Network (EARN) Program started in 2005. The EARN program is for individuals receiving cash assistance and provides assistance with achieving self-sufficiency and gaining employment. The West EARN Center is responsible for providing employment and retention services to clients and monitors their progress for at least six months. The program is contracted through Philadelphia Works, Inc. and is overseen by the Bureau of Employment and Training. The West EARN Center also provides invaluable services to local businesses by supporting their recruitment and hiring needs. Pre-screening job candidates, conducting skill matching, offering space for onsite recruitment events, and sponsoring job fairs are just a few of the services available. Employers also utilize the internship and wage subsidy programs offered by the West EARN Center.
