About Us

EDSI maintains a presence in the Dauphin County CareerLink, serving the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) population in its Employment, Advancement and Retention Network (EARN) Program. Services include case management, job readiness training, job development and retention. The program is funded through South Central PA’s Workforce Investment Board (WIB) and part of the South Central, PA group that serves all eight counties.

EDSI also operates the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program, serving the unemployed and underemployed populations, integrating WIOA services with the EARN program. Core services include job readiness workshops, job search, job club and other career development topics. Intensive services include development of an Individual Employment Plan, counseling and career planning and comprehensive skills assessments. On-the-Job Training (OJT) is emphasized and Individual Training Accounts (ITA) are administered, as needed.

Using the process laid out by EDSI helped us to create the right gatekeeper responsibilities and tasks, so we can ultimately focus more on the fit of candidates to the Cornerstone culture. Tom Willis; CEO - Cornerstone Charter Schools
